Friday, June 11, 2010 at 6:32AM When BP spills coffee--this is how it's handled.
Sometimes if you can't laugh you'd be crying.
Let's make it very clear from the start, the BP oil contamination in the Gulf of Mexico is a tragic mess--it is a serious problem with apparently no easy solutions, even though we live in what we consider a sophisticated, high-tech world. I have no doubt that BP is a well-intentioned company, whose employees are working around the clock to solve the problem, would like nothing else than to contain and then reverse the damage that is being done, even as you read this blog.
However, the ability to laugh at ourselves--in this case it's really BP and the dilemma it finds itself in that's made light of--in periods of frustration and failure is a quintessentially admirable trait in the human spirit. What follows is simply titled: "BP spills coffee" and was produced by UCBComedy.com. Despite all reasonable peoples' concern and desire for a fast Gulf fix...you ought to find this at least a little amusing...
